Borrow Museum Passes for Free

Did you know that the Library offers free Museum Passes to the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Bruce Museum, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, The Frick Collection, Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum, Katonah Museum of Art, and Stepping Stones Museum For Children?  These passes are available to all White Plains Library cardholders over the age of 18 who are in good standing.  One pass may be borrowed at a time per family.  You get the pass for three days and 2 nights and passes cannot be renewed.

You may sign up for a pass up to 30 days in advance either online by visiting this website and clicking on “Museum Passes” on the top toolbar or in person at the Reference Desk.

The details for each pass vary slightly. For example, the Intrepid pass admits 6 people, while Stepping Stones lets you get a free admission for each one you purchase (up to three). When you visit the Museum Pass portion of our website, click on “Pass Details” to see what is included with each pass.

So next time you have visitors coming from out of town or you are looking for something fun to do over the weekend, check out the Library’s museum pass program. This program is made possible by The White Plains Library Foundation.

      Hi Mark,

I’m sorry you had difficulty finding the museum pass page. In order to access the page from your smart phone you can click on “Menu,” the “Info & Help” arrow and then you’ll find the museum passes link. This is an old blog post from 2012, but on all of our current museum pass posts we include the link. Here’s the link if you’re still having trouble.
