Book Bunch – Book Discussion and Pizza for Kids

Did you know that The Trove has a book discussion group for third through sixth graders? We read great books and talk about them over pizza at Uno Chicago Grill!

Join us for our December Book Bunch. Third and fourth graders will be reading Chocolate Fever, by Robert Kimmel Smith and we will meet on Thursday, December 27th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Henry LOVES chocolate – he eats so much chocolate that he comes down with chocolate fever! He doesn't want to deal with doctors and hospitals, so he runs away and many adventures follow.

Fifth and sixth graders will be reading Looking for Bapu, by Anjali Banerjee and we will meet on Friday, December 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Anu has lost his beloved grandfather and he can't imagine life without him. He decides to search for his Bapu's spirit in an effort to keep him with him forever. Anu's search leads him to discover a lot about his Indian roots… and himself.

Uno Chicago Grill provides us with free, make-your-own pizza parties for our Book Bunch meetings.  What could be better – a good book, good food and good company!

Pre-registration is required and will begin Monday, December 3, 2012. Register in person in The Trove. When you register, you will receive a free copy of the selected title, which is yours to keep.
