This month we have an invaluable four-session series for job seekers that you won't want to miss! While it is encouraged that you attend the entire series, you are welcome to come when you are able. No registration necessary.
Who am I?: Develop an Eye-Catching Cover Letter
Monday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m.

Participants will not only learn the format and necessary information to include in a cover letter, but they will explore how to utilize their life experience to appeal to employers.

Build an Appealing Resume: Tips in Creating a Resume
Wednesday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m.

Participants can gain an understanding of the various resume formats, what types of resumes work best depending on experience, and the necessary information to be included in a resume.

Strategies for Successful Marketing and Networking with Potential Employers
Monday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m.

Participants will explore strategies to successfully market skills to employers. We will develop networking strategies and practice interviewing skills.

Understanding Community Supports and Resources: What Supports Can We Access Through the Journey?
Wednesday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m.

Participants will learn about various agencies and programs that can be a resource, Ticket to Work, ACCES-VR, Online job searching tools will also be covered.

This series is presented in partnership with Westchester Independent Living Center.
