Faces of Burke Patient Stories come to White Plains Library

This November and December, the White Plains Public Library will host Faces of Burke, a traveling photography exhibit conceived to showcase the individuality of the patients treated at Burke every day.

Patients with physical and cognitive impairments resulting from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac disease, pulmonary disease and orthopedic issues come to Burke to regain their mobility and independence. The photographs in this exhibit illustrate the experience of six of these patients, and offer a glimpse into their journey towards recovery.

The exhibit will be on display in the Museum Gallery. For more information about the exhibit, contact Elise Johnson at ejohnson@burke.org.
