English as a Second Language courses for Low Intermediate (levels 3-4) will begin May 7 and run through August 6.
Westchester Community College English Language Institute offers these courses here at the Library with two levels. Learn and actively practice vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening skills necessary for daily living, employment and post-secondary education.
Courses for low intermediate students consist of 75 hours of instruction time. The WCC course fee is $20, payable by check or money order on the first day of class. Books are required for this class and must also be purchased on the first day of class (cost of book is $42, cash only). Students will be placed by exam.
Classes will be offered in the morning and evening:
- Monday & Wednesday Mornings: May 7–August 6, 10:15 a.m.–1:15 p.m., (Skip 5/28, 7/4)
- Monday & Wednesday Evenings: May 7–August 6, 5:50 p.m.–8:50 p.m. (Skip 5/28, 7/4)
Students must go to one of these registrations, held on our second floor:
- Monday, April 30 from 10:15 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- Monday, April 30 from 5:15 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
