Sunday movies continue in the Trove in March with a great selection of classic and new family friendly films. Here’s a quick look at the titles we’ll be showing at 2:00 p.m. in Galaxy Hall throughout the month of March.
March 3—Satellite Girl and Milk Cow (2014)
In this unique Korean anime, the duo of Il-ho the Satellite Girl and a down-on-his-luck musician who's turned into a shy cow must evade the all-consuming incinerator monster, the wily pig witch, and other nefarious adversaries in an attempt to be together. NR, 81 minutes.
March 10—Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018)
This monster threequel in the Hotel Transylvania series is a whole lot of silly fun! Count Dracula and company participate in a cruise for sea-loving monsters, unaware that their boat is being commandeered by the monster-hating Van Helsing family. Featuring the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, and Selena Gomez. PG, 97 minutes.
March 17—Disney's Peter Pan (1953)
Disney's classic take on J.M. Barrie's story of the Boy Who Won't Grow Up. Wendy and her brothers are whisked away to the magical world of Neverland with the hero of their stories, Peter Pan. G, 77 minutes.
March 24—Tom and Jerry: Robin Hood and His Merry Mouse (2012)
In this swashbuckler with classic comic mayhem, Robin Hood has a new sidekick, Jerry. The evil king deduces that the best way to deal with this new threat is a cat, so he hires Tom. TV-G, 65 minutes.
March 31—Tom and Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes (2010)
In this spooky cartoon Miss Red is being blackmailed. When she asks Sherlock Holmes for help, he connects her case to a series of jewel thefts and tells his assistant Jerry the Mouse to work with Red's butler Tom the Cat for the duration of this case. TV-G, 50 minutes.
