The Library’s popular Museum Lending Program has been reinstated. This program allows patrons to borrow the Library’s membership to various museums in NYC, CT, and the Hudson Valley. All you need is a White Plains library card and you can reserve one of our passes.
Many of the museums now require a timed entry that can only be made after you have picked up the membership pass from the library. For this reason, you now book your pass for the day you will come to the library to get your pass and you have that pass for a week. Instructions for visiting the Museum will be included in your packet.
We are pleased to offer passes to Boscobel House & Gardens, Katonah Museum of Art, Intrepid Air, Sea & Space Museum, Museum of Modern Art [MoMA], Stamford Museum & Nature Center, and Storm King Art Center. We will be adding the Guggenheim and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan in the near future as well as our other museums as they reopen.
You can reserve a pass by clicking here OR call us at (914) 422-1400 OR visit us at the Hub Desk.
The Jewish Museum, one of the museums that the Library has a membership for, is reopening on October 1st and is free admission for all through the end of December. Patrons will still need to book a timed entry via the Jewish Museum website but they do not need to use the Library membership to visit the museum.
