All kits have been taken. If you'd like to print out your own copy or complete a digital version, visit YearCompass here. Reflect on the past 12 months with YearCompass, a journaling activity looking back on the last year, and working on planning your year ahead. Grab & Go Kits including one printout booklet and a colored pen will be available on a table in the lobby starting Wednesday (12/14) afternoon. Grab&Go Kits for Adults

Grab&Go Kits for adults–because we also need to unplug from our screens, relax, and have fun! Each month, we will prepare a packet that will include instructions and supplies. (A few basics can be found at home.) Kits will be available in the blue Grab&Go box outside our main entrance while supplies last. This month's kit: making a Gratitude Journal. Available beginning Friday, November 20th. Just in time for Thanksgiving. Look out for kits in the coming months on making a zen garden (stress relief!), and, of course, something for Valentine's Day in February.

Bullet Journaling

A few years ago when I returned to work after maternity leave, I found myself struggling to balance my new full-time jobs: mom and librarian. I’ve kept a bullet journal ever since, allowing me to keep my calendar, to-do list, a running list of questions for my pediatrician, and meeting notes all in the same place. My bullet journal has helped me prioritize work tasks, remember funny things my kids say, and train for a half marathon. While my bullet journal is plain and practical, for many it’s an opportunity to incorporate artistic expression and even mindfulness into daily life.
