Now more than ever, the Library is a destination where people find information, community connections, and opportunities to learn. Every week, thousands of patrons use the Library to get assistance with challenges, collaborate, read, and explore the collections. It’s a busy place. In fact, we lend more items every hour than any other library in Westchester. With the Census and election in 2020, the Library will be even more important to the community.
Please DONATE to the Foundation’s Annual Appeal and help keep the Library welcoming and responsive in the year ahead.
We’re very fortunate that the City of White Plains supports all operations, maintenance, and staffing at 100 Martine Avenue, an 82,000 square-foot facility that’s open daily. However, like many public libraries, our Library relies on private contributions to supplement government funding.
Foundation donors have been part of a successful public-private partnership for nearly 25 years. Let’s build on all that’s been accomplished and help sustain and expand all the good work that goes on at the Library.
Thank you. Your support makes an enormous difference by providing funds for children’s programming, community events, technology training, reading groups, teen activities, and more.
