Toy & Game Donations Needed!


The Trove and Edge are asking for donations of items to be used in their upcoming programs. All items need to be in good condition. Donations can be brought to the Trove any time during our hours of operation. Items needed:
 
• Barbies, Kens, and similar sized dolls, as well as clothes that fit those dolls
• Matchbox or Hot Wheels type cars
• Action Figures – any kind
• Board Games and RPG manuals
• Construx, Mega Blox, KNEX, always accepting LEGOs

White Plains Theater Lovers


Do you like Broadway Shows? If so, the White Plains Theater Lovers’ Club is for you! The club meets tomorrow, July 18th at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Center, 65 Mitchell Place. At this meeting club members will choose which show to attend. Tickets are reserved at the meeting, so please come prepared to make a payment in order to guarantee your spot. Cost varies and includes transportation via coach bus to and from the show, show tickets, and dinner.

Film Screening: Resilience




Westchester Jewish Community Services is hosting a screening of the film Resilience tomorrow, July 18th at 6:00 p.m. in Galaxy Hall. The documentary is an exploration into the developments of medical studies where conditions like heart disease can be linked to childhood experiences. This event is free and open to the public.

Mindfulness for Teens


Join Andrea Deierlein from Thrive Reiki on Monday, July 22nd at 2:00 p.m. for some fun and relaxation. We’ll learn how mindfulness techniques, such as breathing and meditation, can promote calmness and creativity. We’ll also explore mind-body awareness with exercises and games. Marketing with Social Media Workshop


The Small Business Administration (SBA) will be here on Tuesday, July 23rd at 1:30 p.m. to present a workshop designed to show you how to utilize social media marketing to grow your business.
