Save the Date!

City Archivist Elaine Massena and former Local History Librarian Ben Himmelfarb collaborated on a new book: White Plains in the 20th Century, a pictorial history. The book draws from the unique collections of the Office of the City Clerk, the White Plains Public Library, along with some material from the Westchester County Archives. Elaine and Ben will be at the Library to discuss the book, their writing process, and take questions on Tuesday, November 26. There will be two sessions, one at 3:00 p.m. and another at 6:30 p.m. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Visit our website for more information about White Plains in the 20th Century.
