Reading Buddies Continues

Our summer program to encourage literacy among elementary students was such a success this summer that it is now an ongoing weekly program! Every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m., children in grades 2-5 can practice reading with a teen Reading Buddy. Reading Buddies will be available to read one-on-one with children in grades 2 to 5 Wednesday evenings for 15 minute sessions in the Trove. Sign-up will start 30 minutes before the program time. This program is made possible through support from the Allstate Foundation.
