The Most Anticipated Books for Fall

Yes, it’s only the first week of August, but this list of the most-anticipated fall books, from Publishers Weekly, has me pretty excited. It includes a sequel to the Handmaid’s Tale from Margaret Atwood; a novel, The Water Dancer, from Ta-Nehisi Coates; a sequel to Call Me by Your Name by Andre Aciman; a short story collection from Zadie Smith; Quantum, a new thriller from Patricia Cornwell; memoirs from both Patti Smith (Year of the Monkey) and Debbie Harry (Face It); and so much more. I think I’m going to suspend my Netflix account for a few months to get through some of this.
