What’s Wrong with This Picture?

Every month, thousands of young people visit the Trove, our children's library, and the Edge, our library for teens. It’s time to replace worn out furniture. Thank you to everyone who responded to the Foundation’s recent fundraising appeal. Community support is making a difference! Last call to please donate (by June 30) and help start the next school year with bright, new furniture for kids and teens.

Film Screening: Georgia O'Keeffe

A tradition of White Plains librarian Barbara Wenglin is to wrap each short story discussion series with a film relevant to the themes explored by the group throughout the series. To complement the current anthology, Stories of Art and Artists, Wenglin selected Georgia O’Keeffe, the 2009 Sony Pictures biopic of the renowned painter of modern art with a portfolio that ranged from enlarged flowers to New Mexico landscapes and New York skyscrapers. The film will be shown on Thursday, June 13, at 2:00 p.m. in our second-floor auditorium, with discussion to follow. For more info, visit our website here.
