Interested in borrowing ebooks? The good news is that we have lots of terrific ebooks for you to check out.
The bad news is that it isn’t as easy to search our ebook offerings as we would like. Ebook borrowing through public libraries is evolving, and to give you the widest variety of ebook choices we are working with different vendors. This means that you need to check different ebook collections.
If you are looking for a bestseller, and we don’t have it, chances are that the publisher hasn’t made this ebook available to libraries. Contact us(cdeschamps@whiteplainslibrary.org) for more information.
There are three ebook collections for White Plains Public Library cardholders to access: our OverDrive collection, the Westchester Library System’s OverDrive Collection, and our Freading Collection.
We’ve also included information about TumbleBooks, a collection for children, as well as Project Gutenberg, the largest collection of freely-available ebooks.
