Text Notifications for Teen Events

We're excited to announce that you can now sign up to receive texts about events for teens in White Plains! We'll be sending texts about events going on in White Plains, including those sponsored by the Library and other City agencies. Teens and parents are encouraged to sign up. For instructions on how to sign up, read on. If you need help, feel free to come to the Edge and we'll help you with the process. And for organizations that would like to submit their events for teens to be featured through text alerts and our After Hours page, please click here.

First, go to the Notify Me page on the City website, found here.

Enter your email address and click the Notify Me Sign In button.

Enter your phone number and check the box that says “I would like to be able to receive text messages.”
Scroll way down to Alert Center and click on the phone image next to White Plains Teens Events.

You should receive a text asking you to confirm your subscription. Message and data rates will apply. Once you confirm, you're all set!
