Rachel Carson (Gr. 4-8)

Build and test a water filtration system to keep the Hudson River and Long Island Sound clean.

Katherine Johnson (Gr. 4-8)
Tuesday, March 10 at 4:30 p.m.
Learn about the early days of the Space Race that lead to the USA going to the moon.

Amelia Earhart (Gr. 4-8)
Tuesday, March 17 at 4:30 p.m.
Build prototypes of flying machines out of recycled materials to help Earhart take her historic flight.

Marie Curie (Gr. 4-8)
Tuesday, March 24 at 4:30 p.m.
Learn the difference of physical reactions vs chemical reactions by using the Scientific Method.

Building Emerald City – Women in City Planning (Gr. 4-8)
Tuesday, March 31 at 4:30 p.m.
Learn basics of city planning by working collaboratively to plan, design and develop a city plan.
