Parent-Child Mindfulness and Meditation – Tuesday, May 26, 3:30 p.m.
Learn to reduce stress, lessen anxiety and insomnia, stay calmer, focus better, and feel more resilient. Direct, practical and easy techniques and strategies that you can use anywhere presented by Daniel Lauter, a Wellness Educator, Mindfulness Instructor, and Integrative Sound Specialist. Mindfulness for All – Monday, June 1, 7:00 p.m.
Would you like to be less anxious or overwhelmed by events in your life? Mindfulness practice is about being present. It gives us the opportunity to pay attention to what is happening in this very moment, tuning in without criticism or judgement. Join Andrea Deierlein for an hour exploring mindfulness and its many benefits. Andrea practices and teaches Reiki and meditation throughout Westchester County. For more information, see thrivereiki.com. This program, supported by the White Plains Library Foundation, is for adults and teens.
CANCELED: Reiki and the Creative Breath
Trove librarian Caroline will guide families on a visual meditation to self-discover. This program will help you and your children focus on the present moment, breath and the creative flow that follows using the theme of spring: renewal, letting go, life and rebirth. For parents and caregivers with their children.
