Minecraft for Teens
In this session, youth are invited to play Minecraft together online in a safe, learning environment. Activities will include working together to survive in a randomly generated world and/or building things collectively in creative mode. All are welcome to partake in some fun with library friends and Digital Media Specialist Austin Olney. Participants must own Minecraft (non-java) on either Windows 10, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, or Oculus Rift to join a private server. Fortnite with Friends
Ready for some BR? Squad up with library friends and Digital Media Specialist Austin Olney to partake in this popular app that encourages teamwork and outside-of-the-box thinking. Freely available on a variety of hardware platforms, all are welcome to partake in some Fortnite fun on either Windows, Android, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, or PlayStation 4/5. Virtual Youth Meet-up
Have a computer or smartphone and looking to let off some steam? Join library friends Austin and Kathlyn in a virtual online space for teens using the Roblox platform. Participate in a variety of fun challenges and shared experiences. A free Roblox account is required to join the library’s private server(s) on either Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, or Kindle Fire.

Virtual Chess Sessions
Want to practice chess and/or hone your skills? Sign up to play against a fellow library friend or even challenge Austin Olney, the library's Digital Media Specialist. Participants will be using the lichess platform, available via web browser or smartphone app. Time slots will be sent following registration. From beginners to experts, all youth are welcome to join!

Game Design for Youth
Ready to grow your mind? Designing a video game requires harnessing multiple digital skills. The result of seeing game elements coming together allows for exposure to a variety of creative computer technologies. Therefore, it is beneficial for youth (and/or parents) who are interested in digital design to attend this program. Learn how to create worlds!
