Grab & Go Kits for Grades 7-12: Bat Window Clings

Teens in grades 7-12 can pick up a kit with project supplies at the Library, then follow along with the instructions below to make the project. Or, you can find the materials around your home and follow the instructions to make the project. Kits are first come, first served, and will become available on Monday, October 17th in the Library lobby.

For this month’s project, we’re making bat window clings. The kit includes puffy orange paint, Ziploc bags, and a printed bat template. You'll need to provide tape and a flat surface (like a piece of cardboard.) This craft is super easy. You'll just tape down your template with a Ziploc bag on top, then use the puffy paint to draw over the bat shape. Let the paint dry for 48 hours, and your bat(s) will be ready to adorn your window for Halloween.

Follow along with the video, and please post pictures of your creations on Instagram or Facebook and tag us so we can see what you make!
