Author Visit & Storytime: Hanukkah Nights
Ages 2-6, Families
Friday, 11:00 a.m. – December 2
Join author, artist and children’s book creator Amalia Hoffman in celebrating a colorful and creative Hanukkah with her new book Hanukkah Nights! More details can be found here.
Hanukkah Grab & Go Kit
Available in the Library Lobby starting Monday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m. while supplies last.
Hanukkah-themed Grab & Go kits for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Hanukkah is the Jewish Festival of Lights, running this year from the night of December 18th through the night of December 25th.
Kwanzaa Grab & Go Kit
Available in the Library Lobby starting Monday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m. while supplies last.
Kwanzaa-themed Grab & Go kits for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade will be available in the library lobby. Kwanzaa is a celebration of African-American culture, heritage and unity running annually from December 26th through January 1st.
Shabe Yalda Grab & Go Kit
Available in the Library Lobby starting Monday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m. while supplies last.
Shabe Yalda themed Grab & Go kits for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Shabe Yalda (also called Yaldā Night or Chelle Night ) is the Persian winter solstice celebration of light triumphing over darkness, this year taking place on December 21st.
Christmas and Feliz Navidad Grab & Go Kits
Available in the Library Lobby starting Monday, December 17 at 10:00 a.m. while supplies last.
There will be both Christmas and Feliz Navidad Grab & Go kits for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Christmas/Navidad is annually celebrated on December 25th.
