Sustainable Westchester will be tabling in the Library's Lobby from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7th.
Sustainable Westchester is a nonprofit organization offering ways for renters and owners to save money on their energy bills, prioritizing low and moderate-income households. Right now, they are looking for Con Edison customers to sign up for their Community Solar opportunity to save up to 20% on their monthly electricity bills. Subscribers do not install solar panels on their homes. They will be subscribed to a Community Solar project that will provide guaranteed savings on their Con Edison bills.
To subscribe, visit www.SustainableWestchester.org/Solar and sign up now for the Community Solar Enrollment Queue (select ConEd). Sustainable Westchester Staff will contact you to help you complete your sign-up. For questions email communitysolar@sustainablewestchester.org or call 914-242-4725 ext. 112 or 110 (Para ayuda en español use ext. 112).
Households may qualify for priority enrollment as low-to-moderate-income if they meet the income requirements in the chart below or participate in government assistance programs like EmPower, Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Sustainable Westchester staff will help those who sign up to determine their eligibility for priority enrollment.
