For our elementary schoolers, please join us for our programs at The Trove! We have an array of activities for different age groups throughout the month. 

Magical Mondays

For grades 3-6. Each session will have a sign-up sheet with 6 slots for our 6 player limit – anyone who already has a character they’ve created can come at 5, but anyone who hasn’t created a character yet should come at 4:30 so we can make that happen before the game starts!

Kids in grade K-6 are invited to sign up for a ten minute reading session to Rufus, a therapy dog. Sign up sheet available 30 minutes before the program. Rufus is apart of the Reading Education Assistance Dogs [R.E.A.D.].

American Girl Club

Meet other American Girl Fans! Bring your doll (American girl or non), we will also have a limited amount of dolls that can be played with during this time. Registration required, space is limited! Play with the dolls and/or make friendship bracelets for you, your doll, and your friends!

DiNovember Graphic Novel Discussion!

Join us to discuss Jurassic Jeff: Space Invader. For best discussion results, please make sure to read the book before coming to the program! We will also be playing book BINGO, and snacking on treats!

The first 6 students to register will receive a free copy of the book. Upon registration please come to the Trove reference desk to pick up your free copy of the book.

Celebrate DiNovember with us by reading the first installment of The Magic Tree House, Dinosaurs Before Dark by Mary Pope Osborne. The first 6 registered will receive their own copy of the book! Read the book before our event and we'll discuss Jack and Annie's prehistoric adventures and play Book Bingo! Registration is required and space is limited! Drop in and build with the Library's LEGOs. Each session we'll provide a building theme or challenge, but also feel free to just build whatever you want! Builds will be put on display in the Trove.
