Lamothe and Volvovski have put together a stunning and compelling snapshot of daily life in each U.S. state through this beautiful book. The short biography of each child is full of personality, as are the gorgeous illustrations that accompany them. Despite the different lives and interests of each of these amazing kids, this book is a great reminder that we all live in the same country and have a lot more in common than we might think. Written for ages 8-12, but plenty to learn about for any age.
