Do you need internet access or know someone who does?

We are now circulating laptop “bundles,” which consist of a laptop and mobile hotspot, each with a power source. The hotspot will allow you to access the internet wherever T-Mobile/Sprint provides 4G LTE cellular coverage. This lending program was made possible through generous donations to and funding by the White Plains Library Foundation.

Laptop bundles are available exclusively to White Plains Library cardholders 18 and older in good standing. Bundles may be placed on hold. To place a laptop bundle on hold, click here. The loan period will be two weeks with no renewals. A fee of $10 per day will be charged for late returns, maxing out at $100. Replacement costs are $500 for the laptop. All original parts of the bundle must be returned, including the cables and chargers. Replacement of any parts included in the bundle is unacceptable and may result in suspension of your borrowing privilege. Laptop/hotspot bundles may not be returned through the book drop but must be returned at the White Plains Public Library Checkout desk in person. They are not to be returned at another library.

Each laptop will, upon return, be checked and restored to its original state so as to erase any trace of previous user activity.
