“How Did I Get Here?” Career Panels

This January we will be holding two career panels for teens. Monday, January 11 at 4:00 p.m., faculty from Touro College will talk about 3D printing and dentistry. This is a real world application of 3D printing. Thursday, January 28, at 6:00 p.m., join Dave Mott, a manager at KPMG, one of the largest accounting firms in the country. He has a unique background in accounting, and will explain that it isn’t just doing taxes. The Library will host employees from Verisk, an analytics company in White Plains. Their careers deal with coding, product development, user interface design, and, well, analytics. How Did I Get Here? Virtual Career Panels

This October the Library will be hosting three career panels on Zoom. Our first panel on October 1st at 6:00 p.m., will feature New York State Assembly person David Buchwald. He will talk about his career in politics and public service. The next two panels on October 13th and 15th, at 4:00 p.m., will have employees from Verisk Financial, an analytics company in White Plains.
