Allstate Readiness Series: Financial Literacy Programs for Adults and Teens

Learn how to get your financial house in order at the Library this fall. Join us at workshops for adults and teens on a variety of personal finance topics: creating a budget, managing your money, protecting your financial security, and planning for long term care. These programs are part of the Allstate Readiness Series, funded by a generous grant from The Allstate Foundation, which supports programs on financial literacy and teen safe driving throughout the year. Teen Summer Reading Program

“Own The Night” This summer the library is offering a lot of great programs for teens. Wednesday afternoons we have hip-hop dancing. We are having a Planetarium show on July 25. August 15 we are making scented soaps & bath bombs. We will be writing horror stories and creating an eBook on August 15; and August 17 is our final party. You can win great prizes like a Nook Tablet by signing up on our summer reading page.

Teen "Pizza & Movie" Saturdays, 2:00-4:00 PM

Teens – come, beat the heat, eat free pizza and watch a movie. Pizza & Movie Saturdays is back this summer in time for the hot weather. Four movies remain; Transformers on July 21, Corpse Bride on July 28, Step-Up 3 on August 4, & Tyler Perry's Good Deeds on August 11. Parents – here's the antidote to bored teenagers!
