Starting January 8, 2021, the Techno Chix, a group of young women in the Girl Scouts, will be teaching an 8 session workshop series on computer coding for Middle Grade students in grades 5-8. They will teach 8 one-hour workshops on Fridays, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., in January and February, covering the Python coding language. This is an in-depth course focusing on Python, and by the end of the workshops students will be familiar with Strings, User Input, Arithmetic Equations, Booleans, Loops, If/Else Statements, and Functions.
Registration and attendance to all workshops is required. These workshops will be held on Zoom. Students will need a Zoom account to attend; you can make a free Zoom account here. Register for the program here.

Hello! Thank you for supporting the Techno Chix.
When I click the link to register it comes up with an error: 500 – Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

Hello, Jaime!
I apologize for that. I updated our website, and it led to a critical error, and that despite successful testing the update on our test server. I was able to fix the problem within ten minutes though. I believe this was around 7:45pm earlier. You should have no issue accessing our site or the post now. By all means, let me know if you should find otherwise.
