September Programs for Younger Kids

Great programs for younger children take place all month long, every month, at the Library.  See our online calendar or stop in the Trove for location information.

Storytimes!
Ages 2-6, Families
Tuesdays, 11:00 a.m. – September 3, 17
Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. – September 5, 12, 19, 26
Ticket required. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting 30 minutes before the program.

Stories, songs and fun with a Trove Librarian. Following Storytime on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the children and caregivers are invited to Toy Time in the Story Trove – a time to play and socialize!

Bilingual Family Storytime
Ages 3+, Families
Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. – September 11
Ticket required. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting 30 minutes before the program.

Families will listen to a bilingual story, sing bilingual songs and make a craft. This program will be in English and Spanish.

Tiny Tots!
0 – 24 months, with a caregiver
Fridays, 11:00 a.m. – September 6, 13, 20, 27
Tuesdays, 11:00 a.m. – September 10, 24
Ticket required. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting 30 minutes before the program.

Our popular program for babies up to 24 months!  Interactive songs and fun in a lapsit format for a baby and their caregiver.

Family Storytime
Ages 3+, Families
Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. – September 11, 18, 25
Ticket required. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting 30 minutes before the program.

Stories, songs and rhymes celebrating mothers followed by a craft.

Move & Groove with Miss Jolie
Ages 1-6
Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. – September 18

Crowd favorite Miss Jolie will have the kids dancing and moving!  Following the program, children and caregivers are invited to Toy Time in the Story Trove – a time to play and socialize!

Storybook Dancing with Steffi Nossen School of Dance
Ages 1-5
Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. – September 25
Ticket required. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting 30 minutes before the program.

A creative, movement-filled program for young ones to hear stories and then dance them to life! Following the program, children and caregivers are invited to Toy Time in the Story Trove – a time to play and socialize!
