April Wellness Programs

Now more than ever, you may feel the need to center yourself and relieve stress. Join us for one or more of our virtual Wellness programs. Practitioners from a variety of backgrounds–Zen, Reiki, Alexander Technique, Yoga–will be leading Lunchtime Meditation programs on Wednesdays at Noon. Evening programs will cover Reiki, Mindfulness practice, and the Breath-Body-Mind Technique. To join, click on the Zoom link the day of the program. (You may wish to join a few minutes early to get the technology part sorted out.) Contact Christiane Deschamps with any questions.

FOR ADULTS

Lunchtime Meditation @ the Library

Brief beginning instruction followed by meditation. No experience or special equipment needed.

Breath-Body-Mind
April 15
7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Join Elena Falcone for an introduction to the Breath-Body-Mind technique of coherent breathing. Renew your energy and increase your stress resilience. Relax with Virtual Reiki

Join Andrea Deierlein for a conversation about Reiki, a natural healing practice from Japan that brings balance to body, mind, and spirit. FOR TEENS

Mindfulness for Teens
April 8
4:00-5:00 p.m.
Join Mindfulness practitioner Cristina Ortiz for a variety of activities. Learn basic mindfulness skills to reduce stress, promote relaxation, connect with your energy, and balance your emotions. This program, supported by the Allstate Foundation, is for grades 6-12. Attend this program by accessing Zoom with this link on 4/8.
