Come to a family storytime and see how long…or tall…or far away…or strong…we can measure! The Trove has 12 new math and science themed Bag-A-Tales and we're doing storytimes to demonstrate the books, activities and crafts that you'll find in each of these storytimes in a bag! The Parent/Child Connection is a 3-part program designed for children from 13 months to 36 months old, with a parent or caregiver. It offers you an opportunity to meet other parents and play with your child in a warm and informal setting. Join the White Plains Public Library's "Battle of the Books" team!

As of July 8, registration for our Battle of the Books team is full.  Stay tuned to see how our team does in October! The “Battle of the Books” is a countywide competition made up of teams from participating Westchester County public libraries. It will be held on October 18th, 2014. If you will be entering 5th through 9th grade in September, 2014, you can be on one of our teams. Summer Reading in The Trove!

“Dig Into Reading” this summer in The Trove! Our Summer reading game begins June 24th and continues until August 16th.  Read exciting books and come in to tell us about it.  Every day that you report, you get a prize!  Collect summer reading passport stamps when you visit The Trove! If you are going in to third through sixth grade, record 3 books online and you will be invited to a pizza party at Uno Chicago Grill! Kids Get to "Act It Out" in The Trove

Hi, Kids! Do you see yourself on the big stage – or the big screen – someday?  Get started here in The Trove in our “Act It Out” program.  This 3-session drama workshop for third through sixth graders will include improvisation, theater games, and script reading.  We'll perform a short reader's theater selection for family and friends at the end of our last session. Book Bunch – Book Discussion and Pizza for Kids

Did you know that The Trove has a book discussion group for third through sixth graders? We read great books and talk about them over pizza at Uno Chicago Grill! Join us for our December Book Bunch. Third and fourth graders will be reading Chocolate Fever, by Robert Kimmel Smith and we will meet on Thursday, December 27th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Henry LOVES chocolate – he eats so much chocolate that he comes down with chocolate fever!
