Head Start Art Fair in The Trove — A Community Celebration

Come to the Head Start Art Fair, a wonderful exhibit in The Trove! Over the next four weeks, art created by children and parents who participate in the White Plains Early Childhood Programs of Family Services of Westchester will be on display along The Trove's Tree Trail. Fairy Houses – an Exhibit and a Play Workshop

An exhibit showcasing the lovely fairy houses and fairy realia of Joan Monk and Bev McAllister from the Westchester Children’s Museum: Museum Without Walls can be currently seen at the Library’s second-floor lobby and in the Trove. The display promotes the upcoming crafts program, Fairy Houses – a Play Workshop, that will be presented at the Library by staff from the Westchester Children’s Museum on Sunday, March 24th at 2 pm. Painting on Silk Demonstration

Berenice Pliskin has been a working silk painter for the past 20 years. Her paintings have been featured in news media and museums and exhibited widely. Some are being shown in our Museum Gallery right now (through November 16th) alongside her husband Bob's work. On Wednesday, October 24 from 7-8 p.m.Berenice will demonstrate her silk painting techniques and give a guided tour of her paintings on view in the Library Museum Gallery.
