Calling all writers and artists! White Plains Public Library is collecting comic strips that illustrate a day in the life of social distancing. Author Storytime: Who Visits Me From A to Z at the dentist

Tuesday, May 10 at 1 pm. Dental hygienist Joanne Roos wrote a picture book to introduce children to the dentist. She will read her book, with help from some puppet friends, and teach how to brush our teeth. For children ages 2 and up with a caregiver.  Limited space, tickets distributed a half hour before program. Books will be sold after the program.

The Trove’s Book Bunch

Books and pizza! What could be better?? Here at The TROVE our Book Bunch groups feast on this perfect pairing! Book Bunch is the TROVE’s book discussion program for 3rd and 4th graders and 5th and 6th graders. It offers students an opportunity to read something fun, new and challenging, and then talk about it with other kids over pizza at Uno Chicago Grill. The creative juices get flowing as book ideas & opinions are exchanged while pizzas are hand-made, sent off to the oven, and then enjoyed together.
