The City of White Plains Recreation and Parks Department, in partnership with the White Plains Public Library, is pleased to introduce StoryWalk at Bryant-Mamaroneck Park. The StoryWalk combines a children's story with a popular walking route. Children's books are selected, the pages separated, laminated, and placed along a walking path at regular intervals so readers can follow the story as they walk the route. The Trove Lego® Club has been busy this Spring! In April, Trove Lego® Club members displayed sculptures at the Family Fun event, April 18th and 19th at Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown, NY. As exhibitors, they received free tickets for themselves and their families. This was a wonderful opportunity to publicly display their work and participate in some exciting Lego® activities in a grand and historic setting. White Plains High School freshman Joshua Colas is the youngest African-American chess master in history.
