Just a reminder that our expanded hours start July 1 – this Sunday! Think of how convenient it will be to drop by to use one of our computers or borrow books and movies. (And if you want to text us a question, we'll be available more frequently to reply!) Our new schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10 am – 9 pm, Thursday, Friday 10 am – 6 pm, and Saturday, Sunday 1 pm – 5 pm. As of September 1, Saturday hours will increase to 10 am – 5 pm.

White Plains Public Library is pleased to announce that the official Westchester Poetry Slam Team will compete in the National Poetry Slam Championships scheduled this year in Charlotte, North Carolina, from August 7-11, 2012. Library to Expand Hours July 1st
White Plains Public Library is pleased to announce expanded hours starting July 1. The library is sponsoring a video production class that will produce a public service announcement. The class includes an opportunity to write the script, select the actors, shoot and edit the video, integrate music, and finally watch the final cut at a red carpet graduation ceremony.
