Meet the Author — Dr. Ari DeLevie

This Thursday, January 29, Dr. DeLevie will read from his debut novel, Coping with Demons of War, which Kirkus Reviews calls “an intelligent, cumulatively powerful” work which involves eight men in a room, all veterans of the Israeli armed forces, all suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Dr. DeLevie draws on his forty-plus years of experience with veterans both in the United States and Israel who struggle years and even decades later from the debilitating effects of post traumatic stress disorder. Klezmer on a Sunday Afternoon

Bring the whole family and enjoy a delightful program of spirited klezmer music on Sunday, January 25 at 2 p.m. The Westchester Klezmer Program is an intergenerational klezmer band program in Westchester County, New York. It is among the largest programs of its kind in the country, if not the world! Westchester Klezmer Program musicians participate by learning and rehearsing klezmer music and then performing at various community based events. Westchester Klezmer Program last played White Plains Library in 2010. At the “Build a High-Powered PC” series of courses, every Tuesday in October at 4:00 p.m. in The Edge, teens will be able to assist in the building of a modern gaming rig.
