Family Fun Day Readers’ Fair this Sunday!
On Sunday, April 10, the Trove will host a Readers' Fair for the whole family. Outside on the Library Plaza from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. will be Hudson Valley Llamas and a fire engine from the White Plains Fire Department. There will also be balloon animals, bubbles, a chalk drawing contest, a scavenger hunt, and outdoor games. Inside in the Trove will be facepainting, storytimes and crafts. At 4:00 p.m., Robert the Guitar Guy will perform after a special storytelling session. Funded by the White Plains Library Foundation.

Fifth Annual Harlem Fine Arts Show Comes to White Plains
The Harlem Fine Arts Show will celebrate its 5th Annual Event, showcasing artists and authors on Tuesday, March 29 at the White Plains Library, 6 – 9 p.m. The event showcases African American artists and authors from the New York metropolitan area. Participants of the Library's eight-week digital photography class for seniors will display their work in the Library Gallery from Wednesday, March 16, through Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Professional photographer and arts educator Lori Adams presented the workshop in which students learned the fundamentals of composition and use of light and color to create portraits and still life images. Saturday, March 12 at 12:00 p.m. Immigration officer Shyconia Burden-Noten of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services will demonstrate a US Citizenship mock interview to help applicants prepare for their own interview.
